Blog Debut

Here it is!  The long awaited blog.  Well, long awaited by me anyway.  I just can't seem to get it through my head that things take twice as long as I think they're going to.  To complete this project and get my photography to the next level, I elicited some help from Nicci Simons.  She helped me understand the world of blogging a little bit better.  Nicci has proven to be a great asset and is now on board with other aspects of my business; as both an artistic editor and album designer.  I am so excited about this upcoming year.  I have a lot of plans; I know, it'll be 2010 before some of them get done....but it's a start, right?    What I hope to be the biggest accomplishment is staying in touch with my customers on a regular basis.  I've got to tell you, my favorite thing about photography - is the relationship. Creating images and running around for a few hours with a new friend has got to be the best career in the world.   Showing off the final product and seeing the expressions on the clients face, knowing that I really captured who they are, is priceless.  I can't imagine doing anything more.   I know I have found my calling and I thank God each and every day for the opportunity.  So through this format I will be highlighting various clients and telling a little bit about them so you can share in the relationship with me.  I will start off by looking back to the highlights of 2008.  I want to hear from you, so please feel free to post comments and give me ideas and suggestions about this blog or photo shoots, or anything for that matter, we're all friends here, right?
